You might be wondering who I am and the experience behind my coaching. Well, my cricket journey has been shaped across two very different cricketing cultures. As a youth growing up I played most of my age-group cricket in England for Middlesex CCC and various clubs.

 

In 2007, I made the move to India where I spent six years in Punjab training under international coaches and playing in a very high-intensity and competitive environment. During that time, I represented Punjab state youth teams up to Under-19 level and regularly trained with the Kings XI Punjab camp during IPL seasons, gaining first-hand experience of elite coaching and the standards of professional cricket.

I then returned to the UK in 2013 to play my senior cricket. After a couple of successful seasons at club level, I earned a call up to play for the Surrey CCC academy, which was followed by two summer contracts with Middlesex CCC.

 

Every stage of my journey had challenges, successes and a lot of lessons, which have now shaped my outlook on cricket and how I coach.
